Festivals, Special Events, and Food Vendors

The Rock Community Fire Protection District Fire Marshal’s Office reviews and issues Special Permits to help ensure festivals, special events, and food vendor operations are conducted safely within our district. These permits allow our team to evaluate site layouts, access for emergency vehicles, crowd and fire safety considerations, and any temporary cooking, electrical, or fuel-related hazards that may be present. Whether you’re hosting a community festival, planning a special event, or operating as a food vendor, this page provides the information and forms needed to begin the permitting process and coordinate with our office.

NOTICE:

Food Vendors only need to apply if you are going to be frying in oil, using a Wok, or cooking with propane.

**You must also have a Class K and an ABC Extinguisher present.**

Once your form is completed, please print, sign and email it to: permits@rockfire-rescue.org

Upon receipt of your completed application, an invoice will be sent to the email you indicated on the form for prompt payment via our payment portal.  You may also pay via phone or in person, see below for details.

**NO PERMITS WILL BE ISSUED OR INSPECTIONS SCHEDULED UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED.**

Fees

Individual food vendor:  $30.00
Operational permit:  $40.00 per event or $280.00 for yearly permit.
Food Truck permits:  3 or more food trucks $155.00 per event.
Tents and Membrane Structures:  $55.00 per event.

Payment Methods

Online: An invoice will be emailed to your chosen email with a link for immediate web payment via credit/debit card (subject to transaction fees detailed on the invoice).

Phone: Call the office at 636-296-2211 x700 to pay via credit/debit card (subject to transaction fees detailed on the invoice).

In-Person: Checks may be brought to Station 5 (3749 Telegraph Road, Arnold, MO), Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Closed 12:00–12:30 for lunch).

We do not accept cash.
