Designed for the general public, the course emphasizes hands-on learning and confidence-building so you’re prepared to act in an emergency. Digital certification cards will be provided upon course completion.

Safe Sitter Class
The Safe Sitter Class teaches young learners essential babysitting and safety skills, including basic first aid, choking response, and how to view babysitting as a business. Designed to build confidence and responsibility in young caregivers.
Fire Extinguisher Class
Our fire extinguisher training teaches participants how to choose the correct fire extinguisher and how to use it safely and effectively. The course includes hands-on practice and emphasizes when to fight a fire and when to evacuate. This course is designed for businesses, schools, organizations, and the general public.

Car Seat Installations
District residents can make an appointment with one of our Child Safety Seat Installation Specialists, or visit any of our 5 fire houses to have a carseat installed into their vehicle or checked to ensure proper installation.
