Last week one of our crews was requested to visit one of our resident’s home to check on their smoke detectors. The residents had changed the batteries in all of their detectors, but could still hear something beeping in their home. After a lengthy search, the crew was able to locate a CO detector that was plugged in behind a shelf. The CO detector’s battery was low, and the crew was able to change the battery, and relocate the detector. The homeowners were grateful and decided to surprise the crew with a unique, custom “smoke detector” cake. We appreciate the gift, and are happy we were able to locate the beeping culprit.
