Today is the first day on the job for Ryon Melton. He met his fellow firefighters this morning and is spending the week getting acquainted with his new surroundings. He will be sworn in on August 12th. Welcome to the family, Ryon!
Ryon is the 12th firefighter hired in the last 2 1/2 years at Rock Community. Seven were hired because of Prop Life Safety and five because of retirements. The new firefighters make up one quarter of the total firefighters at Rock.
