September through November, you may see your Rock Community Firefighters conducting their annual testing and labeling of the district fire hydrants. They are checking the hydrants for proper operation and water flow. Testing the hydrants flushes the hydrant of any debris that can damage fire trucks and prevent adequate water flow for fire attack. During this time, if you notice that your water is discolored, run cold water for 4-5 minutes or until it becomes clear again. Please also check your water before running the clothes washer.
