At last night’s board of directors meeting (4/22/2021), our recent retirees were honored for their many years of service to our district. These 5 individuals have accumulated 131 years of experience between them, and we are grateful that they have spent their careers passing on their knowledge and experience to our newer generations of firefighters. Although they have hung up their uniforms and will no longer be responding to calls, they are forever members of the Rock Community Fire Protection District family. Congratulations to PIER Officer Ronald Harder, Captain Curtis Winford, Captain Steve Hatfield, Inspector/Investigator James Goebel, and Firefighter/Paramedic Brian Whiteley. It’s been an honor working with you all, and we wish you the best in your well-deserved retirement!
