Several members of the department participated in the Clayton 9/11 stair climb to honor the 343+ firefighters that lost their lives on 9/11/2001 and the many that have succumbed to 9/11 illnesses since. Each person participating carried a picture of a FDNY firefighter lost that day. Our guys climbed 110 flights and raised money for the National Fallen Fire Fighters program as well as FDNY counseling programs. At the end, they rang the bell and said the name of the person lost.
