Last week, Deputy Chief Medical Officer Kevin Grimshaw was awarded the Melvin Schroeter EMS Award. This award is presented each year to an EMT or Paramedic that has displayed outstanding performance in EMS. Chief Grimshaw has served as Rock Community’s Medical Officer since 2005. During this time, Chief Grimshaw has been responsible for providing the district with the most up to date advanced EMS equipment, training, and assisted in providing progressive protocols and medical direction through SSM Health Care.
