This is Sue McKeever. She brought dinner tonight to the firefighters she is pictured with because they saved her life. Sue was driving her car near Tenbrook Road on July 11 when she had a cardiac arrest. The car bumped into a utility pole and neighbors called in a car accident. 7115 responded to the call and when the crew arrived they quickly realized this was a cardiac arrest not a car accident. They initiated CPR and advanced life support measures. Minutes later Sue had her pulse and life back. She walked out of the hospital a short time later back to her family. Firefighters Doug Ott, Ken Steiger and Bo Caldwell we’re on 7115 that evening. She is thankful for all the people who helped her along the way, the callers to 911, Rock Township Ambulance, the nurses and doctors at Mercy South. She is very grateful to be able to continue to be with her family and watch her grandkids grow up.
