Training Officer
Rock Community Fire Protection District maintains a high level of training to meet the needs of those we are dedicated to, you and your family!
The expectations of Firefighters have evolved over the years from just putting water on the fire, to a full service community safety net. Today's Firefighter is better educated, better trained, and better equipped to handle the wide variety of calls we receive.
All Firefighters must meet minimum requirements before working as a Rock Firefighter. Certification by Missouri Division of Fire Safety to Firefighter Level II is required for a career Firefighter. This training can be completed through local colleges or fire academy training programs. This training includes certification to the Operational level for Hazardous Materials Response.
In addition, all firefighters must be licensed by the Missouri Department of Health as an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic or Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic.
While we work hard to stay abreast of current training topics and trends across these United States, we dedicate ourselves to you and your family's safety and health here at home. Everyday and Everyway we remain here for you.
